Writing where music, memory, faith, love, loss, and blessing meet.

About the writer

From lyric to life.

Music has always been a passion of mine, and great lyricists have always held my admiration—songs that could pour my heart out and lyrics that could express all the passion entangled in the thoughts, feelings, and emotions life has to offer.

Growing up, experiencing God, the love of only a couple of women, and having two beautiful children, I would learn the pleasures and pains of love. Through it all, great songwriters were always just a cassette tape away from walking me through either side of the spectrum. Seemingly unbearable conditions and heightened states of enlightenment were explored through the words of those who had been there before me.

I would soon begin putting my own pencil to paper and write. Feeling with great depth, I could use my own experiences to share the details of love, of my hurt, of my loss, and of my blessings. I could dive into the deepest corridors of my own discoveries and paint a picture in poetic form.

Poetry has helped me exhale many of the extreme experiences I have had in this life. Today, with God, the love of my two children, and a lover's void ever growing, I continue to write about life, truth, and what love means to me. I hope you all can relate on some level.

Thank you for your interest.
