With a Bachelor’s of Science, a Master’s of Science, an MBA, and halfway through my PhD dissertation, I enroll in an undergraduate creative writing class. I’m nervous because writing is something I actually care about, while my other academic and professional milestones throughout my life were merely efforts to achieve goals set by family and peers.
